Tattoos help vaccines penetrate skin

According to a new study, tattooing is a better way of delivering a new generation of experimental DNA vaccines than standard injections. DNA vaccines to stimulate an immune response is challenging from flu to cancer. Tattooing may change this response. Although no approved DNA vaccines on the market, drug companies are conducting clinical trials to investigate this precious technology.
