Google to acquire CNet?

CNet shares were up 7% Friday based on rumors that Google may be looking to acquire a stake in CNet.com. CNet is a review and news site for tech products. Google may be interested in getting control over CNet’s advertising inventory, like Microsoft’s deal with Facebook.
