Teen Dads and Babies’ Health Risk
Although teenage fathers may be more likely than older men to have babies, their babies are at high health risk. According to a longitudinal study, babies fathered by teens were more likely to be: Low birth weight, small size for their gestational age, pre-term birth, less healthy at birth and higher death rate from birth through their first birthday.

Cellphone usage link to cancer
A link between cell phone usage and the development of tumors had been proved by Dr. Siegal Sadetzki an Israeli scientist. Those who used a cell phone heavily on the side of the head where the tumor developed were found to have an increased risk of about 50% for developing a tumor of the main salivary gland, than those who did not use cell phones. The research team says that using hands-free devices at all times,hold the phone away from one’s body,Less frequent and shorter duration calls would decrease the effect of radiation.

Thousands of starlings turn Sky black.

Sellers boycott eBay for one week
Sellers angry over higher commission on eBay listing and other policy changes are launching a weeklong boycott of the auction site in protest. Recently eBay announced to increase the fees sellers have to pay for listing their items in eBay. The boycott is scheduled to run from February 18th to February 25.

A new Solar System discovered
A new solar system has been discovered which lies about 4,500 light years away from the Earth. A technique, known as gravitational micro lensing is used in the discovery by Polish astronomers. The system consists of a star which is half the size of Sun and two planets which closely resembles Jupiter and Saturn.
