Association between green vegetables & healthy sperm
Levels of folate in men’s diets is linked to chromosomal abnormalities in their sperm. Men who consumed high levels of Folate (water-soluble B vitamin that found in leafy green vegetables and fruit) and folic acid tended to have lower levels of abnormal sperm where a chromosome had been lost or gained. This abnormality is known as aneuploidy. The research is published on the European leading reproductive medicine journal, Human Reproduction.
