Norovirus Outbreak in New York

Norovirus is a virulent gastrointestinal illness,characterized by acute gastrointestinal pain, vomiting and diarrhea. Outbreak of the illness at an indoor water park in upstate New York is approaching 400. A large resort in Jamaica also has been closed after an outbreak there.The illness is not considered dangerous to the general public.
