It will compare the girls’ geographic location with their reported activities, Once a pattern is established, the phones will be used to contact the girls when they are approaching a place where they tend to misbehave.

‘World peace’ hitcher is murdered

Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo was hitch-hiking in white wedding dress for peace, from Milan to Israel and the Palestinian Territories. Di Marineo’s project was meant to bring peace to the war-torn areas like Mediterranean and the Balkansg. Her decomposing body was found in bushes near the city of Gebze,Turkey.

Network Solutions Network Solutions, domain registration and hosting service provider was found to be taking advantage of its customers by hijacking sub domains and profiting from them without the domain owners’ permission. This same company was sued over “domain front running “, a practice of locking up domain names as soon as a user searches for them, taking them off the market and forcing users to use their service to register the name they want.

Diesel from the tree

Diesel TreesAn acre of 100 mature Copaifera langsdorfii  trees might be able to produce 25 barrels of fuel per year.These trees can grow trunks 30 metres tall and store the oil in their unusual capillary structure. A single Copaifera langsdorfii will continue to produce fuel oil for 70 years. The diesel produced from these trees can be placed straight into a diesel tractor or truck after a simple refining process.

Braille Cellphone for the blind

This Cellphone uses six of the phone’s buttons to represent the six-point Japanese Braille system. Anyone who knows Braille, can keys in symbols which will be sent to other phones and will cause a connected keypad to vibrate, spelling out the words. Right now it may be impractical, in future it will be more helpful gadget for the blind. The device was created by an ex-teacher at a school for the blind and a professor from Tsukuba University of Technology,Japan.

No TV in Teens’ Bedrooms

TV in bedroom A new study found that, teens with a TV in their bedroom ate fruits and vegetables less often, ate fewer meals with their family, and were twice as likely to watch at least five daily hours of TV. Nearly two-thirds of the study participants— 62% — had a TV in their bedroom. American Academy of Pediatrics’ recommends not to give teens a bedroom TV.
