New Planet “Super-Earths” Discovered

superearthsThere are new planets called “super-Earths” have been identified by Astronomers, and announced at an astronomy conference in Nantes, France. These rocky planets are between two and 10 times the mass of Earth. The High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher called Harps instrument was used to detect these 3 new planets. They circle a star that is smaller than our Sun, and it is located 42 light-years away.
