Google has added a cool new feature onto their direction mapping service. Google walking directions, give pedestrians the most direct and flat route possible. Google maps also suggests “use caution when walking in unfamiliar areas.” I have noticed that Walking option is only displayed for destinations which are walkable. Even though it miss some information like side walks or pedestrian bridges it is a useful addition. Google Map’s walking direction feature is still in beta.
