Obama Choose Biden as Running mate.

Barack Obama introduced Joe Biden as his vice-presidential running mate. Biden is the senior United States senator from Delaware. Currently in his sixth term in the Senate, Biden has served for the sixth-longest period among current senators (fourth among Democrats) and is Delaware’s longest-serving senator. Obama announced the pick on his Web site with a photo of the two men and an appeal for donations. Mr Biden recently returned from Tbilisi capital of Georgia after talks with Mikheil Saakashvili, Georgia’s president. The US presidential election is scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2008,
