Somali pirates who hijacked Ukrainian arms ship MV Faina have vowed to fight any rescue attempts. They demanded a $20 million ransom to release it. There are 33 Soviet-designed tanks and heavy weapons aboard the ship. Six U.S. Navy warships have surrounded the ship. Pirates Spokesman Sugule Ali told the Associated Press: ‘We have nothing to do with insurgents or terrorist organizations, we only need money.’
