Palin repimanded over abuse of power as Alaska governor

An Alaska ethics report has concluded that Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, abused her power as governor when firing a state official. Alaska governor was accused of pressuring the official to fire her former brother-in-law and then firing the official when he refused. Investigator Stephen Branchflower, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain.
