Kyrgyzstan Knocked Offline

Kyrgyzstan, a former Soviet republic came under  cyber attack by a”cyber militia.” The attack which originated from Russia virtually knocked the whole country offline. The attack has shut down Web sites and made emailing impossible. Less than 20% of the Kyrgyz population is online. Kyrgyzstan allows U.S., to use an air base in the country to help with its military operations in Afghanistan
