Google Teams with Celebrities to Register Voters

Celebrities Forest Whitaker, Leonardo DiCaprio and Dustin Hoffman have joined hands with Google in a campaign to get US citizens to vote in the coming presidential election. Google says despite all the buzz about turnout this year, 1 in 4 Americans still aren’t registered to vote. Google put a Voter info map which contains registration, absentee, and early voting information in one place. The celebrities in the “5 Friends” video urge people to send “5 Friends” so the message spreads.

Brad Pitt donates $100,000 To Support Gay Marriage

Bradd Pitt AngelinaHollywood star Brad Pitt, one of the most generous celebs, donated 100,000 U.S. dollars to fight Proposition 8, California’s November ballot initiative that would overturn the state Supreme Court decision legalizing same-sex marriage. “Because no one has the right to deny another their life, even though they disagree with it, because everyone has the right to live the life they so desire if it doesn’t harm another and because discrimination has no place in America, my vote will be for equality and against Proposition 8,” Pitt said. Earlier in the week, Brand and Angelina contributed 2 million dollars to create a center for Ethiopian children affected by Aids and tuberculosis.

When she was admitted at the Hospital, surgeons discovered that her coronary artery was ruptured. Coronary arteries are the arteries that carry blood to the heart muscles.
