Comedian George Carlin Dies at 71
Comedian George Carlin,died of heart failure at a Los Angeles-area hospital on Sunday. He was 71. George Carlin was a Grammy-winning American stand-up comedian, actor, and author. Carlin’s most recent stand-up routines focused on the flaws in modern-day America. Carlin was scheduled to receive the John F. Kennedy Center’s prestigious Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in November. Carlin wrote three best-selling books, won four Grammy Awards. He had long struggled with health problems and a heart condition dating to the 1970s.
