Humans nearly went extinct 70,000 years ago

Population Evidence found in DNA suggests that humans came close to extinction roughly 70 000 years ago. The human population at that time may have shrunk as low as 2,000. The human population at that time was reduced to small isolated groups in Africa. Today, more than 6.6 billion people inhabit the globe.

Endangered Species: Yellowstone Rabbit
