Cell Phones For Hearing Impaired

Researchers from University of Washington has created a  software that for the first time helps deaf and hard-of-hearing people to use sign language over a mobile phone.

monkey.jpgAmazingly, part of monkey’s brain is specialized for selective listening to the voices of other monkeys. The finding should pave the way for studies on the neural basis of voice recognition. It will help shed light on how the human brain changed as speech and language evolved.
