Lenovo laptops rank #1when it comes to laptops with least number of repairs reported by about 135,000 owners in Consumer Reports surveys. Lenovo also ranks second in tech support only next to Apple, ahead of Dell and HP.

Dell facing laptop bettery shortage

Dell inspiron batteryDell Inc said the personal-computer industry was experiencing a shortage of laptop batteries caused partly by the March 3 fire at LG Chem’s Ochang plant. LG Chem is the second biggest South Korean battery maker. The fire contributed to a worldwide battery shortage. Dell is the world’s second-largest PC maker after Hewlett-Packard Co.
