‘World peace’ hitcher is murdered

She wanted to show that she could put her trust in the kindness of local people. Giuseppina Pasqualino di Marineo was hitch-hiking in white wedding dress for peace, from Milan to Israel and the Palestinian Territories. Di Marineo’s project was meant to bring peace to the war-torn areas like Mediterranean and the Balkansg. Her decomposing body was found in bushes near the city of Gebze,Turkey.
