75% of American Glad Bush’s term is over

george-w-bushThree out of Four of Americans those questioned in a CNN/Opinion Research Corp. survey said they’re glad Bush is going; 23 percent indicated they’ll miss him. 28 percent rated Bush as the worst president ever. Only a third of those polled said they want Bush to remain active in public life after he leaves the White House. President-elect Obama is scheduled to be sworn in as the 44th President of the United States on January 20, 2009.

I think he is a transformational figure,” Powell said. “I come to the conclusion that because of his ability to inspire, because of the inclusive nature of his campaign, because he is reaching out all across America, because of who he is and his rhetorical abilities”, he further added. Mr Obama said his campaign had been endorsed by “a great soldier, a great statesman and a great American”.
