One in Four Canadians don’t believe in God.

Almighty GodA new Canadian Press Harris-Decima survey reveals ,fewer than three-quarters of Canadians believe in a god. 72 per cent of poll participants said they believed in a god, while 23 per cent said they did not believe in any god. Compared to men(67 percent) more women(76 percent) believe in God. Also Canadians over the age of 50 (82 per cent) were far more likely than those under the age of 25 (60 per cent) to say they believed in a god. Belief in a god is higher in rural Canada (76 per cent) than in urban Canada (69 per cent). In one Harris Interactive study in the United States, conducted in 2007, the number who said they were non-believers was only eight per cent which is three times lower than Canada.

Vatican,Islam world’s largest religion

IslamThe Vatican acknowledged that Islam has surpassed Roman Catholicism as the world’s largest religion. According to Vatican’s yearbook, Roman Catholics account for 17.4% of the world population while Muslims are on the rise at 19.2. But when considering all Christians and not just Catholics, they make up 33% of the world population.

A MAN has been crucified for the 22nd time

CrossThe re-enactment of the crucifixion of Jesus Christ is part of a annual spectacle, in this northern Philippines village of San Pedro Cutud. The 47-year-old Ruben Enaje was the first of 19 men who underwent the bloody Easter crucifixion ritual. 18-centimeter metal nails were driven into his both palms and feet while lying spread-eagled over the cross. “It is painful and difficult. But I will continue doing this for as long as I can,” the father-of-four said.
