Marc-Antoine Audette and Sebastien Trudel, two comedians from Quebec who are known as the “Masked Avengers” managed to get in a phone call Sarah Palin, claiming to be French president Nicolas Sarkozy. She told them she may make a good president in eight years.

Palin repimanded over abuse of power as Alaska governor

JusticeAn Alaska ethics report has concluded that Republican Vice Presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, abused her power as governor when firing a state official. Alaska governor was accused of pressuring the official to fire her former brother-in-law and then firing the official when he refused. Investigator Stephen Branchflower, found Palin in violation of a state ethics law that prohibits public officials from using their office for personal gain.

Letterman : McCain’s Last Minute Cancellation

John McCain canceled his scheduled appearance on the “The Late Show with David Letterman” since he need to get back to Washington to focus on fixing the economy. But instead of leaving to Washington he was at the CBS News headquarters for an interview with Katie Couric, while Letterman was interviewing Keith Olbermann who had filled in as a substitute guest for McCain. Letterman have always had a friendly rapport with McCain, evn calling him “an honest-to-God hero.”

Reporters Violently Manhandled and Arrested in Republic Convention

Democracy Now! host Amy Goodman and producers Sharif Abdel Kouddous and Nicole Salazar were violently manhandled by law enforcement officers and arrested. Goodman was arrested while questioning police about the unlawful detention of Kouddous and Salazar who were arrested while they carried out their journalistic duties in covering street demonstrations at the Republican National Convention.
