Online Advertising Spending will Continue to Grow

GrowthAccording to New Study in UK, online advertising spending will continue to grow, and approach £5 Billion ($8.7 billion) in 2012. In 2007, spending on UK Internet advertising topped £2.6 billion ($5.3 billion), up more than 30% from 2006. The growth in online advertising is due partly to growing agency expertise and advertiser understanding of digital channels.

The War in Afghanistan, was began on October 7, 2001 as the U.S. military operation Operation Enduring Freedom, was launched by the United States with the United Kingdom in response to the September 11, 2001 attacks.

Huge WWII bomb defused

WW2 Nazi bombA World War II-era bomb that was discovered during construction for the 2012 Summer Olympics, was safely destroyed by British Military. The German bomb weighs 900 Kg and was the largest one found in three decades according to London Metropolitan police. If the bomb had exploded, it would have created a large crater and sent fragments flying close to a kilometre. Nazi planes dropped thousands of bombs on London during the war and unexploded devices are found from time to time.
