Women more prone to Strokes
When blood flow to the brain is suddenly disrupted by a clot or a burst vessel brain damage occurs and it is called stroke. There are 700 000 people each year who suffer stroke. According to a research, women account for 60 percent of death caused by stroke. The chances of stroke is increased by birth control pills and pregnancy. Migraines, also have been linked to strokes.

Aspirin a Day ‘may lower risk of breast cancer’
Daily dose of Aspirin may protect women against breast cancer, a landmark study suggests. The study found that those taking Aspirin painkillers had a 12 per cent lower risk of breast cancer during their lifetime than the general population. This research was carried out by the University of British Columbia, the Vancouver Coastal Health Research Institute and the University of Santiago de Compostela. In US alone nearly 200,000 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer each year.
61 Year Old Woman Had A Baby
A Japanese woman aged 61 gave birth to her grandchild. Her daughter donated an egg a clinic said on August 22, 2008. Surrogate births are rare in Japan and banned by industry groups, but it is not illegal. The Clinic refused to provide information regarding the baby. This procedure has been done because the woman’s daughter has no uterus. Both surrogate mother and baby were fine.

Risk Of Osteoporosis
Osteoporosis occurs when the body cannot replace bone calcium as fast as it is lost and it is very common among women.
Common risk factors for osteoporosis are:
* Getting older.
* Less weight-bearing exercises.
* Low estrogen levels especially after menopause.
* Low calcium or vitamin D in diet.
* hormonal imbalances.
*Heredity(white or Asian).
*Alcohol consumption and smoking.

Ticking Male’s Biological Clock
More evidence were found that men as well as women have ticking biological clocks that start to tick in mid-30s. A study done on 12,200 couples proved that the chance of a successful pregnancy falls when the man is over 35, and it is significantly lower if he is over 40. The researchers told in a health conference that it was due to the DNA damage in sperm.

Women think of shopping,men think about sex
According to a survey by cosmopolitan.co.uk, 75% of young women think about shopping nearly as often as men think about sex. Young men are said to think about sex every 52 seconds, on the other hand thoughts of shopping pop into young women’s heads every 60 seconds. The survey conducted among 778 women aged 19 to 45. Half of those surveyed said they preferred shopping to spending time with their partner.
Machoism And Alcohol
When it comes to a stressful situation, women and men act differently. Women have greater rates of depression and anxiety disorders while men have greater rates of alcohol-use disorders.
According to a new study, men tend to consume alcohol when they are stressed or upset. Women feel sad or anxious, which lead to depression and anxiety, and they also tend to think over and over again about their negative emotional state. But men are more likely to distract themselves from negative emotions, and try not to think about these emotions. This can lead to alcohol related disorders.

Men are more intelligent than women and dumber at the same time
After investigated the intelligence of over 2,500 brothers and sisters, assessed by science, maths, language and mechanical ability tests, a British team made of four psychologists concluded that men are more likely to be both at the very top and at the very bottom when it comes to intelligence. The result is based on statistical values. Which means that number of dumb men or intelligent men significantly overcome women in number.
